I have never been more excited for a weekend.
My husband and I are headed to Glenmere Mansion on Friday afternoon.
The agenda? Sleep, spa, read, and eat. And sleep some more.
And it goes without saying that I’m already packed.
There’s not much to pack when your plans involve lots of hours in a robe, but Glenmere’s dinners do require a bit of dressing up, and I don’t want to look like a schlub at breakfast and lunch.
I also don’t want to be buttoned up.
Here’s a peek at what’s in my weekender bag for this weekend.
Cuyana sweater c/o – Encircled t-shirts in navy, black, and white – Old Navy jeans – Everlane cashmere joggers c/o – Velvet slip dress – MM.LaFleur silk pajamas – LAKE pajamas – Nicholas Kirkwood heels – Sol Sana slides – Dagne Dover crossbody bag c/o – Nike sneakers – Anine Bing bralette
Encircled t-shirts are my favorites, and I’m packing them in white, black, and navy. I’m also wearing my oversized Cuyana sweater, which is perfect for the drive out and for dressing up jeans and a t-shirt for breakfast.
Even though I plan on being wrapped up in a fluffy robe most of the weekend, I’ll be wearing these Old Navy jeans and these Everlane cashmere sweatpants when I have to be more presentable – breakfasts, lunches, and the drive home. The sweatpants are ideal for lounging, as I binge read this novel.
MM.LaFleur’s silk pajamas have been one of my favorite purchases. I wear then frequently for evening events (with a bold lip and a great pair of heels), and I also love lounging in them when I want to feel a little fancy. What I actually sleep in? These amazingly soft LAKE pajamas.
Glenmere offers complimentary yoga in the mornings, and I need to get in my long run this weekend as well. I’m packing a few Old Navy pieces (two pairs of these pants and two sports bras), and will wear the previous day’s t-shirts to work out in.
My idea of a relaxing vacation is to read as much as humanly possible. In addition to my Kindle, I’m also bringing this book and this one. I’m also bringing these bath salts, my favorite face mask and oil, and this body scrub.
Just one more sleep until Glenmere. I. Can’t. Wait.
