Raw Rev Glo Bars

Do you suffer from hanger?

I certainly do. And so does my entire family.

It’s an unattractive quality, and one that can lead to meltdowns, dumb fights, and sometimes delirious conversations.

Hanger isn’t pretty.

While I always have a baggie of Annie’s bunnies stashed in every bag for Rho, I’d been negligent on packing snacks for myself (and my husband). I didn’t love most bars (too sweet), plain almonds got boring, and I’d inevitably find myself in a bodega buying candy and chips.

That was the situation – until June.

For our drive to and from the Hamptons for Heymama’s Strong Like A Mama event, my friend Laura packed a bag of healthy, satisfying snacks that kept us fueled for the 6 hours of traffic we trudged through.

Sweet, juicy clementines. Chips that were as healthy as they were delicious. And these bars.

Not too sweet. Incredibly filling. Clean ingredients. DELICIOUS.

It was so good that I saved my bar’s wrapper, so I could promptly order a box. Or 3.

Raw Rev Glo bars have become a family favorite. We stash bars in our luggage when traveling or grab a couple before heading out the door for a long day. My husband keeps boxes of them at work, and it’s become my pre-workout breakfast before my early morning sessions with Benjamin.

Our favorite Raw Rev Glo bars are chocolate chip cookie dough, brownie batter, and creamy peanut butter. But all of them are damn delicious.

And healthy.

Raw Rev Glo bars for the ultimate snack win.

Other grab-and-go items that I love – my post-workout smoothie, a healthier take on pad thai, and our family’s favorite muffins.

I share a food post on Mondays. You can find (and filter!) them all here.
