Up In The Air

Things have been absolutely manic right now (hence the radio silence on the blog).  I’m traveling nonstop for the rest of the year; I’m in New England this week and have trips planned to to Pittsburgh, NYC, Boston, New Orleans, and Atlanta before heading to India for the big wedding.

It’s nuts, but what I look forward to the most is sitting on the flight.  It’s refreshing to escape the constant inflow of e-mails in Outlook, the flashing red light of my BlackBerry, and just get an opportunity to breathe.

When I’m not asleep, I like to spend a few minutes just watching the clouds/sun/stars go by as we fly.  And I like to take pictures.

Lightening from a distance (terrifying, but captivating)

Sunset. I have a lot of these pictures, but this is one of the best.
Fluffy clouds on a flight en route to FL
Flying over New York City on a Europe-bound flight

I also attempt to read through my never-ending book collection on my Kindle, but sleep and window-gazing take precedence.  How do you pass time on flights?
