For New Yorkers, Central Park is a necessity.  There’s nowhere else in the city where you can escape the heat, and while it’s not yet summer this day was a scorcher.  Under the shade of the park, Kat and I frolicked and photographed each other before escaping to the cool air-conditioning of Essex House for cocktails and a good gossip.  We then went to meet up with our men – she to TriBeCa for a dinner, and me to Chelsea to catch Iron Man 3 in IMAX 3D.  For me, there are few better ways to kick off a weekend.
And can we talk about how good Old Navy is right now? Â The blouse emulates the bohemian feel of this Isabel Marant piece (I also love this one), and the subtle brocade fabric of the pants are a budget friendly version of these from J.Crew. Â A win for my wardrobe AND my wallet. Â The heels – been wearing them nonstop since I got them a few weeks ago. Â Shiny AND comfortable? Â Another win.
