My affinity for books and reading is no secret (um, hello).
And while I love the convenience of reading on my Kindle or iPad, sometimes there’s just nothing like an actual book. Â (Bonus – you can continue to read during takeoff and landing on flights, too).
Given that our apartment is already overflowing with books, I try not to purchase new ones. Â But after inhaling The Charm School, I had to pick up one of the author’s other books while moseying through the selections outdoors.
And, of course, I had to read the first page. Â And then the first chapter.
And when the price is only $2, I had to buy the book.
Oh, and the outfit? Â Pretty much what I’m wearing nonstop all summer. Â The jacket is for crisp mornings and to ward me from oppressive air conditioning.
