Back on the go

After three glorious weeks at home, I’m off again.

It was too good to last forever.

I’m heading to India for a quick 10-day trip for work and wedding planning.  I’ll be spending my first two days seeing the best of Hyderabad’s wedding locations, and then it’s back to work with the India commercial team before hopping on a flight back to Philly on the 24th.

Then, it’s off to Vegas on the 26th for a college BFF’s bachlorette party!

Tough life, I know.

I'm leaving, on a jet plane...again.

The car will be picking us up in 10 minutes, so no dilly-dallying.  Here are my current On-The-Go obsessions:

  • Real Simple Weddings.  It was the least frou-frou of the wedding magazines at Walgreen’s.  Time to leave the blissed engaged mode and enter crazy wedding planner mode.  To my poor mother…I’m sorry in advance.
  • Music: New Order and Surfer Blood (thanks to sunlovey), The Kominas, Neon Indian, and Bollywood (when in India..)
  • Books: The Godfather (have yet to read the book), Shantaram (have yet to finish the book), Project Management by Clifford and Lee (have yet to do any class reading)
  • Podcasts: Gabrielle Bernstein‘s guided meditations.  Because my crazy brain needs to shut up every now and again.  She’s great at easing you into meditation.  I’m a fan.
  • TV shows: Got the latest episodes of The Good Wife and Damages all ready to go on my phone-less iPhone (it’s amazing how great the battery life is when it’s not a phone).

As always, I’m rocking my jeggings, Chucks, and ombre scarf, I have my trusty Dell and BlackBerry in hand, and I remembered to pack my passport.

Let’s do this.

Catch you on the other hemisphere.
