I suffer from pretty severe fashion FOMO on a regular basis. Â One item that I’ve grappled with wanting on and off – the ubiquitous Pashli satchel from 3.1 Philip Lim. Â I know. Â I know.
I’m not about to splurge on the satchel.  But the bag’s sister, the Pashli messenger…well, that’s another story.
I’m a huge fan of bags that offer a shoulder strap or a crossbody option. Â This bag has just that, with the same edgy details that I loved in the Pashli satchel.
It’s a perfect bag…with the exception of the price.  (I’ll be stalking this one on the sales pages for months to come).  But to my happy surprise, I found a similar version from my happy place…Target.
It retains the top handle and side zippers that I love in the Pashli and the cross body strap that I need. Â It’s smaller than its designer counterpart, but the more compact size is fine for my daily essentials.
The gray color version (in the steal, of course)Â sold me. Â As did the price. Â I’ll be toting it to decide whether I’m ready to take the plunge on the splurge.
