Monkey Business

When it comes to pet names, my husband’s and my choices are…interesting.

I was dubbed Monkey early in our relationship, with no clear reason.  Was it my excellent monkey sounds?  My aptitude for hanging upside down by my legs (i.e. trapeze class)?

I don’t think I’ll ever know.  But when I came across this dress from ASOS, I knew I HAD to own it.

And when it arrived, I HAD to put it on immediately.

It’s not a dress I’d wear to a business meeting or conference for the day job, given how short it is. The rest of the time?  Abso-f*$(ing-lutely.

Worn alone with sandals or with a blazer (scored on major discount from The Outnet) for a little more polish, it works with everything.

I love this dress so much that I bought an extra one.  Just in case.

Monkey see, monkey do.

Note – if you’re between sizes, size up.  The size 6 (pictured here) was on the snug side, and the size 8 had a loose fit that was still flattering.
