The Hit List – May 2015

Hit List May 2015

I never got the zombie craze. A zombie virus that rendered hosts partially dead but with super strength and speed is scientifically implausible, and the whole eating of brains grossed me out. So no one was more surprised than I that I LOVED iZombie. It’s smart, witty, and just a treat to watch. The eating of brains? Thoughtfully cooked in the show, and pretty much looks like shrimp. No gross factor here. While in Aruba, I devoured The Knockoff (like The Royal We, one of the best written light books I’ve read in years) and The Secrets of Happy Families (which I wish I read when I first moved in with my husband). I also look forward to new installments of Reply All and My Morning Routine, after binge listening and reading both respectively. Wide-legged jeans, a breezy blouse, leather espadrilles and my charm necklace have been my uniform as of late. And in an ongoing effort to be healthier, I’ve found the secret to vitamin compliance – Olly Vitamins, which are as delicious as they are good for you. The beauty and energy chews taste delicious, and the sleep ones work. like. a. charm.
