On The Go Must-Have: Google Reader

I am a web junkie.

I’m a self-admitted Facebook and Twitter addict.  I read my favorite blogs daily (and get mildly upset if there aren’t new posts), in the morning, with my coffee.  I tear through the NYT and WSJ websites when I need a mini-work break.  I Google myself (don’t judge me, you do too).  I end my workday reading through the Google Alerts sent to my inbox on pharmaceutical companies, products, and diseases I’m tracking.

I spent a lot of time clicking away at keys and trying to remember that blog I read that I really liked but can’t find in my millions of bookmarks.  Until Google Reader entered my life and swept me away.

I'm too embarrased about the various sites I subscribe to share my own Google Reader. A Googled image of Google Reader will have to do

My good friend Ish has been sharing links and interesting articles via Google Reader for months, and I thank her for getting me hooked.  It is so much easier to go to a single site and scroll through what’s new on the NYTimes DealBook blog, get new wedding inspiration from Maharani Weddings, and envy the killer styles of Cupcakes and Cashmere and My Style Pill.  I get my beauty and fashion fix from The Daily Obsession and my politics update from CNN’s Political Ticker.  And I’ve finally seen the value of Google Buzz, as I get shared articles and posts from my Buzz people.

It’s amazing.

And if you don’t want to waste time typing and clicking to your favorite websites, you will make one stop to Google Reader and start subscribing.

You’re welcome in advance.

What are your favorite blogs and sites?
