This is what I wore to Lucky’s FABB conference.

It is also not what I originally planned to wear.

As September nears every year, I have this fantasy of donning a thick sweater and boots, wearing my hair loose, and grabbing a pumpkin spice latte before watching some football.

And nearly every year, I find myself still reaching for breezy dresses and throwing my hair into a high bun (which, ahem, Lauren Conrad rocked as well.  And Anna Sui & Simon Doonan apparently hate).

And so, on September 5th, I threw on this Zara dress and teased my hair into a sock bun to combat the sticky, humid, 80-degree weather.   Instead of jacquard trousers, sleek blouse, and booties.

And had to miss football yesterday because of work (boo!)

But at least I got my pumpkin spice latte.
