While I tend to shy away from multiple use products, I can’t get enough of this cleanser by One Love Organics – it washes away the most stubborn of eye makeup and leaves my face feeling incredibly fresh.  In addition to skipping toner, this cleanser also works as a pretty good shampoo and makeup brush cleaner.  (It’s also all-natural).  Summer heat and humidity can leave my face looking like an oil slick, so I protect and prevent shiny face syndrome with a sunscreen primer by La Roche Posay and a mattefying cream by Embryolisse.  Gotta love the French – they really know their stuff when it comes to skincare.  Because I’m terrible at remembering to apply sunscreen throughout the day, I reach for this powder version by Peter Thomas Roth – it keeps my skin protected, and helps remove the sweat shine as well.  Another multi-tasking product FTW.

Frequent shavings leaves my sensitive skin irritated – but this shaving cream (intended for men’s faces) leaves them hydrated (particularly when paired with this delicious-smelling lotion by Archipelago).  I keep the rest of my skin protected from the sun with these easy-to-apply sunscreen wipes – again, gentle on skin (they’re intended for babies) and not messy.  I like to exfoliate my skin regularly in the summer, opt for these wipes from Dr. Dennis Gross – they work like a dream and don’t count against my liquid allotment.

Did you know your hair can be damaged by the sun?  For beach trips, this Phyto spray is always in my tote to prevent color fading and keep my hair hydrated.  It also smells so nice.  My hair errs on the frizzy side all the time, so a weekly oil treatment before I wash it is necessary.   I use coconut oil at home, but this Weleda Rosemary Oil is a nice option when I’m traveling – I also use it as a body moisturizer.  I’ve been using hair pastes since I chopped off my locks a few months ago, and this one is my favorite, by far.  And I have the folks at DreamDry to thank for my new obsession with Oribe’s dry shampoo – the best, hands down (I sneak this outside my baggie – no one ever notices!).

The products denoted with an asterisk (*) are those that don’t count as a liquid.
